ALPINA PICO FLASH Children’s Bike Helmet

The PICO FLASH from ALPINA is a bicycle helmet for children and teenagers with numerous features and a Flash Light rear light, making it a safe and comfortable companion. Twelve vents a a ventilated visor ensure that the head is well cooled even in summer. In addition, fly nets on the front prevent insects from getting inside the bike helmet. The RUN SYSTEM ERGO FLEX PLUS system ensures comfort and optimum adjustment options. The lightweight, filigree construction fits snugly around the head and thus improves the fit and the level of protection. Thanks to the INMOLD construction method, in which the inner shell made of Hi-EPS is foamed under the outer shell under high pressure and intense heat, the children's helmet is lightweight and safe at the same time.

Highlights & Technologies:

INMOULD:
The liner is fused with the outer shell under high pressure and strong heat for a lasting connection. This makes the helmet very robust and lightweight.

HI-EPS:
The inner shell is made from High Expanded Polystyrene with numerous microscopic air chambers that absorb impact energy in case of a fall.

CERAMIC SHELL:
A break- and scratch-resistant polycarbonate outer shell that is pressed onto an Hi-EPS body under high pressure and with intense heat. It’s UV-resistant and antistatic.

RUN SYSTEM ERGO FLEX PLUS:
By using the Run system, the size of the helmet can be individually adjusted with the simple dial. Lightweight, filigree and robust – this fitting system allows the helmet to be perfectly adapted to the head.

AIRFLOW VENTING:
The ventilation of the helmet is one factor that strongly influences wearing comfort. The well thought out arrangement of the ventilation openings is crucial for optimum ventilation of the interior. The air is channelled into the interior, where it is guided along the head and can flow out again at the rear end. The head is therefore always pleasantly air-conditioned.

CUSTOM FIT SYSTEM:
In order to fit different head shapes, helmets need a flexible fitting system. In combination with the Run System, CUSTOM FIT ensures a non-slip fit. The neck strap at the rear of the head can be tilted at three different angles for a snug fit without pressure points.

ERGOMATIC:
The strap closure with a red press button and a multi-step ratchet mechanism can be operated with one hand only. It won't become loose in case of a fall.

NOTE:
The LED rear light does not replace the lighting equipment on bicycles prescribed by the German road traffic regulations StVZO (§67). Please note that the LED rear light may be covered by a collar, rucksack or similar when in use, or may not be visible when moving your head.
